The Lucky Goldstar (LG) Pavilion at the
2012 Expo in Yeosu is another high-tech pavilion to rank with the Lotte and
Samsung buildings in this southern port city.
The design of the outer wall of the LG Pavilion reflects the theme of 'water'. The interior includes green furniture with plants part of chairs and sofas and was partly made by local Korean artists and children from the Yeosu orphanage.
The LG Pavilion also includes a digital chandelier playing Vivaldi's
The Four Seasons and visual effects that capture the seasons in South Korea.
The overall theme of LG's Pavilion is "Life is Green" as eco-friendly business and water treatment are areas the company want to move in to in the near future.
