Pyongyang in the northern part of the Korean Peninsula has extremes of temperature. Hot and humid in summer, Pyongyang can get extremely cold in winter.
PYONGYANG WEATHERThe rainy season arrives in June and usually lasts until the latter stages of July. Snow and frost can be expected for at least a month during the winter in Pyongyang with ports, such as Wonsan, freezing up from December thru March.
